Yes, I would be okay if my wife were earning more money than I earn. I would be proud of my wife. If she were earning more than me I am sure there is a good explanation behind it. It might be that she graduated from college and I did not.
It might be because she took extra training classes and I did not. It could also be that she has achieved some professional certification such as passing the bar exam for an attorney or the test to become a certified public accountant. I do not expect to earn more money than my wife just because I am a man. It does not make me less of a man if my wife makes more money than I do.
