All branches of the military are important to protecting our country. The army is the oldest and has been around the longest. It is also the biggest. At this point, I would say the Army is the most important. They provide many soldiers during our time where terrorism is prevalent. These army soldiers go overseas and fight against the militia and insurgencies that are committing terrorist acts.
The other branches are important too. The Airforce provides aircraft weaponry and equipment to help fight terrorism. The Navy also provides soldiers like the Navy Seals who also contribute to the war on terrorism. I believe that really now all of the branches help keep the country safe and secure due to their courageous acts.
