Teenagers are often faced with peer pressures. This means that their friends push or try to convince them to do something that they may not be comfortable with doing. Instead, of not doing this action, their friends make fun of or push them into doing the action. These actions may include smoking cigarettes, doing drugs, drinking alcohol or cheating on a test.

Teenagers and others are often encouraged by their family and real friends to avoid peer pressure. There are certain things that a person can do to avoid peer pressure. The best way to not succumb to peer pressure would be to not be pressured. One way to do this is by avoiding the friends who are pressuring you. Another thing is to say no and stick to it.
