Nexus is a link between a couple of things. There seem to be connections between big businesses and the American government even though it shouldn’t be since businesses shouldn’t influence the decisions of the government. For some time, it seems that there is a connection between some of the major corporations in the world and the American government.
Usually, the corporations and government try to remain quiet about their relationship. The general public would feel that the government is giving privileges to companies that are friends with them. Oil corporations have made a connection with the American government in order to get special treatment and possibly money. In return, there is speculation that the leaders in the oil corporations may supply money to candidates.
