Shell corporation is a company that at one time sold gas. There were many gas stations owned by Shell which now is no longer active. The company still exists but there are no headquarters and no workers for Shell. Some other companies may have bought out the gas stations that were once owned and managed by Shell.
There may be some gas stations that still run under the name of Shell, but it seems that they may be operating the station under the name for illegal purposes. Therefore, it seems that Shell may not be the corporation that is going to replace the oil and gas business on the subcontinent of America. If the company is no longer in operations, then it highly unlikely that it is going to replace anything.
