Cyberbullying may begin with simple antics and teasing, but it may lead to other threatening acts to the victims. Sometimes, cyberbullies use the internet and social media to mock others. This means that they make fun of their victim’s opinions about something. This is considered the beginning of cyberbullying, if the behavior continues or gets worse. Victims may have proof to show this evidence to the proper authorities or teachers.
At this point, the victim can do several things to stop the cyberbullying. They can shut down their social media accounts in order to avoid the bully. When the bully does not have access to the victim, he or she will either stop bullying altogether or find another victim. Another thing that can be done is to let others know what is going on.
