How do you think cyber-bullying affects the life of those bullied?

When someone is bullied over the Internet, he or she may not feel safe even in their own home. When a bully targets a victim face-to-face, at least the victim can seek shelter at their home and avoid the bully. However, when the bullying goes on over the Internet, the victim is in their home and threats may be made to the victim over the Internet.

The victim may find that it is difficult to focus in class or at work. The victim may always be thinking about what may happen to them if they come in contact with the bully. Also, the behavior given to the victim may make the victim’s self-esteem lower. Last, the victim may feel that she or he has no friends since the others may support the bully.
