When a musician begins his career at an early stage, he usually is inspired by fellow musicians or rappers. In this case, Drake’s influence was by Jay Z, Lil Wayne and Kanye West. Then Drake’s music evolved as a result of listening to their music. Drake’s music and lyrics include lyrics that brag or are egotistical. His music also shows some technical talent to it and he includes events from his life. He includes both beats and rap in his music.
For the most part, Drake’s music has remained the same with his hip hop and R &B sounds remaining in his music. Although, Drake has begun to implement the hyper-reality rap that he is now known for that is included in his music.
