Would Drake have been successful in the 1990's (hip hop's glory era)?

Many artists whether they are actors or singers could have been just as famous and popular during a different era. Some people were just born in the right era and therefore their style and talent matches that of today. However, sometimes it seems that some people’s moving or acting skills are too advanced for what is happening now or should have taken place during an era in the past. For Drake, it is difficult to determine whether Drake would have been just as successful during the 1990s during the hip hop glory era.
