What sports do Americans like more "Baseball" or "Basketball?

Baseball and basketball are two American sports that have been played for decades. Many people enjoy watching these sporting events on television or going to the stadiums or arenas to cheer on their favorite teams. It is difficult to tell which sport is more valued by Americans. The main reason is because these two sports are played during different seasons. Baseball is usually played in the spring and summer.

Basketball is played during the winter months due to it being inside. However, some of the times overlap and both sports are played at the same time. Both sports have major leagues with the Major League Baseball and National Basketball Association. However, I do believe that there are more basketball fans than baseball fans due to the number of people who go to those games and the amount of attention they get.
