There are many different kinds of pets in America. Pet owners can have hamsters, cats, birds, lizards, fish, gerbils, dogs and even mice. However, there are pets that most people own. That is the dog. Dogs and cats seem to be the most popular. Dogs seem to be the most popular though. Dogs are friendlier than cats and they are more able to be played with than some of the other pets like fish, lizards and hamsters.
Over time, dogs have become more and more popular. Cats are harder to control. Dogs are easier to walk and get along with other dogs. For the most part, they are easier to pet and take care of. Some lizards secrete poison into the air. Fish can’t be walked so they may make a good passive pet. Dogs are more active.
