Consciousness is both being awake and understanding of everything around them and what is going on. Unconscious is the opposite and people think of this word as being associated with being asleep. There are different levels of consciousness. Sometimes, people experience sensory experience, practical consciousness, reflective consciousness and reflexive consciousness.
To be consciously aware of the world around you, the first step in improving your state of consciousness is to eat healthy. Fish is known as brain food. Eating the right kinds of foods will allow the brain to function properly. It will also allow people to be more focused which is related to consciousness. In addition to that, people should also exercise on a regular basis in order to improve their consciousness and alertness.
