If all humans decide to jump at the same time, we will definitely make some impacts on the Earth. Before we can do this, that means all humans would have already gathered in one place so that our impact can be felt. And so that we could all jump at once; at the same time.

This scenario has been investigated and there are so many things we should expect if we decide to do this. While it is true that we would release a lot of energy, some of this energy would be felt by us. The rest of the energy would spread into the air.

This shows that we would not make so much impact on the Earth, because that would create a net force of zero on the Earth. However, we would definitely create a huge sound (the loudest sound to be heard on Earth). We would also make the ground shake. However, this could create some natural phenomena like tsunamis or earthquakes depending on where everybody would gather.

This can only be possible if all humans would agree to use the same location because it will be very difficult for a population of over 7 billion people to jump at once at their various places. People usually think of this question because they want to know how much impact we would make on the Earth if this should happen.

However, it will interest you to know that the Earth would not feel anything if we decide to do this at our different places. Another reason is that the highest an average person can jump is between 24 to 28 inches.

However, if there is a way we could gather at one place and jump at the same time, we could impact the Earth. In fact, this could cause an earthquake to occur. Another thing is that we would be proud of ourselves for making the loudest sound ever on Earth.

Everything that we do has a scientific basis behind it. Waking up, eating, and even reading a sentence has science behind it. Another action that has science behind it is the action of jumping. If every person in the world were to jump at once, it could impact Earth, but it would depend on where the people are jumping.

If every single person is in a different location, such as their home or at work, not much would happen. This is because the jumps would be scattered throughout the world. The only time the Earth would be impacted if everyone was in the same location and jumping at once, because the weight of all those people would slightly move Earth.

Even if human beings will jump all at the same time, nothing will happen. People may expect that an earthquake is going to take place. This can be because of all the weight that humans will be placed on earth. Yet, since people are located in various places all over the world, the weight will not be set in just one spot alone.

There are going to be different spots wherein the jump would take place. If this would happen, people will just feel the lift−off and the impact of their jump. The case will be different if there is only one spot in the world wherein all of the people would jump though they may have to do a lot of jumps to make an impact.

There are some questions that you cannot help but want to answer. Humans are located in different parts of the world and if everyone would jump all at the same time, nothing will happen. The reason for this is because of the location. People cannot be at the same place at one time because it will be too crowded.

If people would jump in one area of the world all at the same time, that may be the time when something would occur. The impact of the jump will be felt in various parts of the world but will be equalized so people will not feel a thing aside from their actual jump.

Any time people commit an action, there is always a scientific basis for the action. In this case, if a time was made mandatory for everyone in the world to jump at one designated time, certain things would be considered. One thing is the amount of pounds coming down on the earth at once. This would depend on where everyone is jumping. If people are jumping right where they stand, nothing would really happen to the earth when everyone jumped in place.

If people were gathered together in one place, this would cause a slight difference. The people would most likely jump up about a foot off the ground. When everyone jumps up off the earth at the same time, the earth will actually move upward slightly. When everyone lands back on earth at the same time, all of the weight in one location would push the earth down slightly.
