There are many different ways that space travel can affect the human body. One is related to the central nervous system. Traveling in space can damage this system. For some, the effects of space travel can be temporary, but for others, it can permanently affect the brain. For example, a person may experience changes in their behavior. A person may feel depressed or have heightened anxiety.

Another with depression or anxiety, a person traveling in space may feel physically sick. They might feel nauseous or may even vomit. They can also feel dizzy, extremely tired, and may lose their appetite.

One of the dangerous things about space travel is that you will be exposed to space radiation. We don't see the effects of this radiation on Earth because our planet is surrounded by the atmosphere and magnetic field. Most of these gases that make up the atmosphere protect us by absorbing these radiations.

But when you travel to space, you will be exposed to these radiations because space lacks the type of atmosphere that surrounds the Earth. For instance, when you travel to Mars, you will be exposed to ten times the radiation that comes to the Earth.

One of the effects of radiation exposure is that it may increase your chances of having cancer. Space travel can also damage your CNS (central nervous system), and this may result in acute effects. It can later cause behavior changes and changes in cognitive functions. It can also result in anorexia, nausea, fatigue, vomiting, etc.

Space travel can affect the human body in different ways. It will have the ability to damage people’s central nervous system. Some of the effects can be acute which means that they are temporary but the time may also come when they would affect the cognitive function of the brain permanently. Some would experience some behavioral changes.

There are also others who would have reduced motor and cognitive function. The amount of radiation that can be found in space will also have the tendency to become extreme. Radiation sickness can make humans feel nauseous, dizzy, and tired. Some will also begin to feel that they are not hungry anymore.

Space travel causes problems on the human body. Since there is not any gravity in space plus other changes in temperature and pressures, this could take its effect on the human body. The most obvious and known effect on the human body is weightlessness. When a person’s body does not have weight like it does on Earth, this can cause problems for the muscle and bones of a body.

As a matter of fact, it has been known for the skeletal bones to deteriorate. Other effects include decreasing the functions of different parts of the body or weakening these functions. For instance, it can cause fewer red blood cells to be produced as well as the heartrate to slow down. Symptoms may also be felt due to being in space like nasal problems.
