Some people say that vegans are healthier than vegetarians, mainly because vegans specifically focus on all food items that are only composed of vegetables. There are actually some nutrients that vegans are unable to get because they are usually taken from meat sources.

Vegan diets can be healthier for the environment though, which is probably one of the main reasons why people may decide to switch to a vegan diet.

They do not eat meat, but they also do not eat dairy or eggs either. All three of these are good in that they focus on the healthy foods, fruits and vegetables and stay away from unhealthy foods. So, vegans have the best diets because they avoid all animal products. Eggs contain cholesterol and dairy products are usually made into unhealthy foods.
