The only way that the dispute in the South China Sea can be solved is if China would accept the decision of the law that there are some areas in the South China Sea that cannot be taken over by China. It seems that the country feels that they are above the law, and they would rather create their own laws depending on what will be beneficial for them.
Since the countries that they are in dispute with are not as strong as they are, they are trying their best to bully these countries so that the results will be favorable to them. China has been using its power, and as long as they feel superior, then there would be no resolution.
The South China Sea is an area in the world that is now being plagued by problems and disputes. Specifically, the problem has to do with the area that countries are claiming as theirs. The main contenders in this dispute include Brunei, Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam. This area is important due to the large amount of trade that passes through this area.
The territories that are in dispute include islands and banks and not areas that are already attached to a country. Also, fishermen from these countries prefer to fish and are having trouble with other countries claiming the water is theirs. Some of the problems that have taken place within the past few years include fishermen boats being damaged or destroyed as well as a fisherman being killed.
