There are a lot of speculations that ISIS started to become a bigger group ever since the US started to take over Iraq. Some are saying that Obama should be blamed for the rise of ISIS because people started to believe that they would need to do something in order to change the current situation that they are in. Some say that ISIS was formed way before.
When then-president Bush decided to have a war with Iraq, the group was formed. Right now, ISIS is considered to be the biggest threat to the United States, and this is also primarily the reason why there is no peace in the Middle East right now. The foreign military at that time ridiculed the capability of those from Iraq, and the people there may have decided to retaliate by creating a truly dangerous terrorist group that we know now as ISIS.
ISIS stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. It is known for its extreme methods. It has now committed terrorist threats to several countries. By sending a few men or women to certain countries, these people attack average citizens usually unexpectedly in order to kill as many people as they can. In 2003 the United States invaded Iraq which became known as Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The U.S. and Iraq spent several weeks in major combat. When Saddam Hussein gained power as the leader of Iraq, many Iraqi citizens suffered. Although whenever a country tries to stop a dictatorial government such as Iraq’s many groups may come together to punish the country. However, in 2017, ISIS/ISIL/Daesh have lost land to the United States and the Iraqi army in theirrecent campaign in Iraq and Syria.
