I personally believe that anything that has to do with discrimination is wrong. The fact that this ethnic group is being exiled is not very humane. This ethnic group has faced a lot of issues since the 1980s, and while some countries will be very happy to take care of their ethnic groups and allow them to protect their future, it seems that Myanmar is not very happy with this ethnic group.
They are doing everything in order to remove the Rohingya minority from the country. The main problems have started because of the different beliefs of the Muslims with the Buddhists. Most of the Rohingya Muslims have already crossed over to nearby Bangladesh.
Rohingya Muslims are an ethnic group. Most of them are Muslim. Unfortunately, the treatment of these people have gone as far back to the early 1980s. Even though they have lived in Myanmar for many years, they are not considered to be citizens of this country. Their ethnic group is not recognized as being part of the ethnic groups in Myanmar. There are over one million Rohingya Muslims living in Myanmar today.
Their livelihood is very poor and they can’t leave the country without permission. The Myanmar government exiled Rohingya Muslims from their country. It all started in October 2016 when several police were killed in the villages where these Muslims lived. Retaliation ensued where troops raped, committed arson and killed many Muslims.
