The 2004 bestseller entitled Beach Girls was written by Luanne Rice. The book has been compared to the highly popular book and movie entitled Secrets of the YaYa Sisterhood. It is about the strong and special bond of female friendship. Rice has authored 32 novels.
The book was adapted into a TV series as well that ended up having six parts more like a mini series. This television show was made in 2005 but it does not seem to have garned as much respect as the book. Luanne Rice herself is spoken highly of as a great writer of your time.
