James Potter's nickname was prong because his animal form is a stag. James Potter is a young wizard; he was a pampered child and was cocky and cruel in his childhood. He was friends with Sirius Black, Remus lupin and Peter pettigrow. They were known for their mischief and called themselves the "Marauders". When they learnt that their friend Remus lupin was a werewolf, they decided to become animagi, they succeed in their fifth year.
