With technology advancing, it is no longer necessary for a person to take a test to identify their genotype. Over the years, there has been a rise in people wanting to know their genotype. With that demand, companies have come to meet it by creating ways for a person to find their type without seeing a doctor or taking a blood test. 23AndMe is one of those companies.

While this company also offers a blood test, a person can also take a test by spitting into a test tube. Once they fill this tube with their spit, they can send it off to the company, which is donating the DNA to the company.

There was a time when you would need to get a blood test in order to figure out your genotype. The best thing that you can do is to get genetic testing instead. Scientists are already aware that there are three different types of genotypes that are available. These three types are AA, AS, and SS.

There are still some genotype mixes that are available, but it will be easier to determine what your genotype is based on the genetic testing that you will undergo. You can also spit in a test tube so that your saliva can be the one that will be tested in order to know your current genotype.

The process of finding out one's genotype has become popular in the last few years. There have been companies to rise to help find the genotype without a blood test. One of those companies is 23AndMe. To see it without a blood test, a person can donate their DNA to the company. To donate, a person will spit into a test tube.

The person will also need to provide a genetic book, which will include information about the person's ancestors and DNA features. Once the DNA is analyzed, the person will be sent information back on any illnesses they may get due to their DNA, as well as recommendations for their health.
