Communication is essential in our society, as it is because of the exchange of thoughts, opinions, feelings, and facts that we can learn from each other. Effective communication is a crucial component in learning, teaching, and forming relationships with people and maintaining them.

Communication can be either one way or two way. One-way communication typically has an individual communicating their thoughts to the other person, while the other person listens to them. One-way communication also encompasses television, radio, and other forms of media.

Two-way communication is part of being a team at work or with your family at home. Two-way communication means you get to deliver a message and hear the other person’s response. Communication, as a whole, brings the world together as one big functioning machine.

The correct answer to this question is One way communication is very important in nurse-patient relationship specially in emergency situations. In all situations, it is important for a nurse and patient to have a two-way communication, but this is especially important in emergency situations.

There could be a time where if the communication is only one-sided, it could threaten the patient's health and life. If the patient is hurt, it would also hurt the career of the nurse if she is not communicating properly. Both the nurse and patient must work together in communication so that the relationship can keep the patient healthy.

Communication between the nurse and patient can be very important. it is true that one way communication is highly structureed as it is also true that one way communication has very little place in a patient nurse relationship. It can be said that even when a person hears a message but does not respond communication has taken place.

However, it is not true that one way communication is very important in a patient nurse relationship. Especially in an emergency situation it is in fact a good idea for the lines of communication to be kept open as much as possible and it is a good thing if the patient is able to communicate back to the nurse.
