What did Harry and Hermione find on Christmas eve in 1997?

On Christmas Eve in 1997, Harry and Hermione found Lily and James Potter’s graves.

Harry and Hermione travelled to Godric’s Hollow to see Lily and James Potter’s graves also believing that Dumbledore may have given the sword to Bathilda to give to Harry. When they found the grave, Hermione had conjured flowers for Harry to place on the grave.

The headstone of the grave is engraved with Lily and James’ date of birth and date of death, and with a verse from the bible, 1 Corinthians 15:26 which say “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death”.
