The scripture that was carved on the gravestone of Lily and James Potter is 1 Corinthians 15:26.
The gravestone of Lily and James Potter is located in the graveyard of Godric’s Hallow. It was made from white marbles, similar to that of Albus Dumbledore gravestone. It is engraved with Lily and James’ date of birth and date of death, and with a verse from the bible, 1 Corinthians 15:26 which say “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death”.
